Back to normal!
A newly painted unit of French Middle Guard, Fusilier Chasseurs to be precise:
The figures are Elite Miniatures (nice with plenty of movement) and the flag was hand painted. you can by great flags much better than anything I can do but I quite enjoy doing them and after all enjoyment is what it's all about,
I intend to paint up another two companies of troops in skirmish order to accompany both these and the Fusilier Grenadiers I did earlier this year.

Great ! I really like your command base, its shape, by itself, is telling "En avant!"...Great paintjob and flag!

Wonderful!!! I really like these. I have a couple of Elite Miniatures units done and another couple to do. Nice to paint!
ReplyDeleteI do like those- when do we get a bash with 'em!!
ReplyDeleteRoger, very kind.
ReplyDeleteAndy, I don't have loads of later Naps in 28mm, 3 battalions of Brits, 3 French Guard units (including this one) some cavalry for both sides and a French battery. More to paint but I do them when I fancy it. In the mean time if you or one of the TWATS have some then we'll go for it no prob.
Dave.
Hmm the time may be closer than you think - once I get more of my shiny dudes done.

These boys are keen for the 'off' aren't they? Lovely painting, as usual.
ReplyDeleteThanks James, they do look as though their getting ready to start to charge, very animated figures.
