You just can't stop, can you?

I know, I know, here's my completed 10mm Caesarian Roman Civil War armies See here. No more I said from now on I only finish armies I don't add to them.
Well bollocks, here's these itdy bity tiny 10mm Pendraken figures shouting "paint me, paint me", I figures a few more auxiliary, cavalry and a couple of generals wouldn't come amiss, I had the day of so there you go. So much for good intentions!

Now here's the thing, when I sent to Pendraken for the Marian army pack which contains both the figures in the photographs above and the legionaries you can see pictured by following the link above (I will paint those later).
Now to me, and bare in mind I ain't no expert, the troops above portray Imperial auxiliaries, horse and foot archers, not light troops and cavalry of the Marian/Caesairian period, nor does the legionary seem to show a infantry man of Marius and remember Marius came before Caesar.
I would be very interested if anyone out there knows more about this, I'm reluctant to criticise, as I say what do I know!
Any thoughts, please drop a line.
Dave.
