Early Austrians 1792-1800

It's a big bugger!
Finally finished the 48 figure Elite 28mm Austrian battalion, in this case IR 11 'Wallis' fro the French Rev collection:






I have an Old Guard unit unpainted, I wonder if with a small amount of work the figures could be done as Consular Guard for 1800? Really need another Austrian position battery as well, onwards ever onwards!

      48 is big. I use 32 and thoight they were pretty unmanageable.

    Great work! The Elite Austrians really carry themselves with confidence and panache. Super figures. As for Old Guard as Consular Guard, I did the same with my 18mm project.

      As for 15mm Austrians in casquet, AB, Lancashire, and now Old Glory/Blue Moon make them.

    Thanks for the comments lads, part of the reason for the unit size is so the I can use them for Sharp Practice, 8 figures to a formation.
